    Sunrise City Cafe... located in historic downtown Fort Pierce is a must visit for breakfast or lunch if you are in the area. I had the pleasure of visiting on a Friday morning.  We wanted a light breakfast before we hit the road and that is what we got.

    It is a family run business with mom working the grill and one of the daughters, Zoey, was our server.  The place is clean and decorated in a country motif.  It was pleasant and small with about 8 tables inside and 2 outside.

    When we first walked in, it was packed and was pretty loud.  As the first wave of patrons cleared out, the volume got down to a normal level, but as soon as the place was 3/4 full again the volume went back up.

    The breakfast was perfect for me, light and just enough.  And the marbled rye which is my favorite made the experience that much more enjoyable.

    Great breakfast. I had the blt breakfast wrap with eggs and a side of home fries and couldn't of asked for anything better.

    Thank you Yelp for helping my husband and I find this splendid cafe. Food was great and the staff was wonderful. We arrived around 10:00am and the place was packed. So yes, it is very popular with the locals. We were able to get last available seats by the door. Others came in after but only had to wait no more than 10 mins. Staff offered drinks while patrons waited for seats. Our lattes and breakfast was delicious. I'm looking forward to trying their lunch. We will be back soon.

    Staff is very accommodating and food and service is good. I wasn't planning on ever coming back, but so glad I did. This place really deserves 5 stars and there was no toast malfunction today. LOLOL
